After several attempts at meeting up we finally got there with Alfie’s wish, not only that but we were able to give the family a holiday voucher for the Isle of Wight, which they hope to take as soon as Alfie is well enough. Below is the e-mail we received the very same night.

"Thanks again for today and of course the goodies! It really took me back your voucher for the holiday. We are really looking forward to that!! We all enjoyed meeting you both and Alfie really took to you because he doesn't let just anybody take his photo, never has. So you are very honoured! As I said to you I knew that if the pressies came by post it wouldn't mean anything to them but now they feel a part of something so thank you for inviting us into your home.
