In Memory of Oliver
|
On the last day of March 2006 CWCF gave Oliver
a day out to remember with help from the amazing staff at Spa Valley Railway.
We were able to hire Thomas from his owners, Hit Entertainment, for the day
so that we could give Oliver’s family and friends a super day out.

The Fat Controller kept everyone on their toes.
We went for a long ride where Oliver kept his eye on Thomas’s speed and told
the Fat Controller if Thomas went faster than 25mph.
The on-board crew from Spa Valley Railway kept the children happy during
the journey by handing out Thomas stickers & games. Then we pulled back
into the station, had lunch in the buffet car before the Fat Controller took
everyone into the yard. Here Thomas and his friends got up to their
usual tricks such as Thomas discovered fish in his boiler. The children
had to help fill Thomas up with water and the naughty trucks got up to all
kinds of mischief.
